music property rights – for school …?
If I had to make some videos of my school using popular songs with current artists, and if I had to leave used during rallies and sporting events and post them on youtube (and say, get many instances). I need to request permission to use these songs? What if I have completely remade the songs, but a parody of original? Is it a question of money, then – so if someone makes a profit out of it, then he will leave to use? Would school program benefiting the video being shown at events fundraising will be counted as income? Sorry for the barrage of questions, but again, this is a very vague and open to cover.Thanks!
